SARI ANN LEWIS, OTR/L, RCST®
Sari graduated from the University of Wisconsin in Madison in 1981 with a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy. Following clinical internships in New York and California, she settled in Arizona to begin a decade of specialization in the treatment of hands and upper extremities. She enjoyed several years with Medtronic and Empi representing their electrotherapy products (TENS and muscle stimulators), but returned to therapy after her son was born to stay closer to home.
A challenging managed-care environment soon prompted Sari to create the partnership of Resolution Therapies from 1987-2003. She provided patient care and was the Operations Director, supervising staff and business operations. During this time, Sari studied with the International Alliance of Healthcare Practitioners (The Upledger Institute) and the Craniosacral Therapy Association of North America (CSTA/NA) to complete over 1000 hours in Biomechanical and Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy and obtain certification as a Registered Craniosacral Therapist (RCST®) through a CSTA/NA approved program. www.craniosacraltherapy.org Additional experience includes over 70 hours of Pediatric training and 35 hours as a Teaching Assistant.
Sari created her private practice in July of 2003 and is delighted to focus her attention on patient care at her North Scottsdale location. She treats a diverse caseload of patients, with ages ranging from birth to over 90. She is a Fitness enthusiast, taking a variety of step, spin, yoga and other classes at Mountainside Fitness. Sari is also a contributing writer for the M Fitness Magazine, which distributes in locations in AZ and CO.
Sari is married to Warner Lewis III, CEO of Life Planning Group, LLC . Warner serves the life planning needs of boomers, business owners and retirees. His practice focuses on Estate Planning (Wills and Trusts), business entity formation and compliance and business succession planning solutions. Warner is a certified high-performance driving instructor for NASA Arizona and BMW and Porsche Car Club events.
Their son Taylor, completed his senior year of high school through a combination of online classes, Community College classes and high school marching band, where he played snare drum. He has also participated in competitive Winter Drumlines, been in several bands, playing drums, guitar and bass and vocals. He listens to, plays, sings and writes music and plans to pursue his studies in Global Studies at ASU.
