I was introduced to emagineGreen by a long-time patient.
Throughout my career as a therapist, I’ve been approached regarding an array of products. I didn’t want to divert my attention from my therapy practice.
But, since I was curious, I checked out the website.
I was immediately drawn to the idea that we didn’t have to do EVERYthing to make a big difference in respecting and preserving our Earth. Instead, we started doing some little things.
For example, I now use a cloth towel at work to wash my hands (that’s a lot of hand washing every day!) I figure that I probably save 150 paper towels a week!
Our family re-visited my husband, Warner’s childhood tradition of using cloth napkins with color-coded napkin rings for each family member. We don’t necessarily have to wash the washcloths after each use. (we each take turns being the messiest!)
I fell in love with the bamboo towelettes, using and re-using them for spills and even for the indoor grill! We’ve decreased our paper towel consumption significantly.
For years, I’ve tried to find a reusable bottle that I liked for durability, portability and ease of cleaning. Their most popular bottle is 24 oz, BPA free, and dishwasher safe.
Next targets are to turn off lights consistently, unplug idle appliances and continue to decrease disposable water bottle waste.
