N Medicare Cap of $1740 for outpatient Occupational Therapy remains in place for 2007.
Now, more than ever, patients need to choose wisely for their outpatient therapy needs. The re-instatement of the outpatient therapy cap limits the amount of visits for outpatient Occupational, Physical and Speech therapy services, with a cap of $1740 for OT and combined cap of $1740 for PT and Speech.
